The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities approved the second interconnection agreement to bring power generated from the 1,100 megawatt (MW) offshore wind energy project, Ocean Wind, ashore. Orsted, the owner of Ocean Wind, said the second interconnection was purchased in order to keep all options open while they make a definitive decision on interconnection.
